What happens to what you send us. Updated 30 September 2026.

What we collect

The brief form asks for your name and email and, if you want to add them, your company, what you're making, what you already have, where it will run and any notes. If you write to hello@firendev.com, we get your email and what it says. There is no account, newsletter or sign-up on this site.

What we use it for

To reply to you and, if we work together, to make the piece. We don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't sell or share what you send.

Where it goes

The form sends your brief to our inbox as an email, and this site keeps no copy of it. To stop abuse, the form stores a one-way hash of your IP address, which can't be turned back into the address, and a short log of form events with no personal details. Our hosting provider keeps the usual server logs, and the case videos are served by a content delivery network, which sees your IP address when it sends them to you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser remembers whether the opening animation already played, for the current tab only, and forgets it when you close the tab.

How long we keep it

Brief emails stay in our inbox while the conversation or the project needs them. Ask us and we delete them.

Your choices

Write to hello@firendev.com to see what we have from you, correct it or have it deleted. We reply by email.
